One of my friends sent me this link today. This link describes how to unlock your iPhone, for free, and provides the means to do so.

I recently finished and launched my first ebook; Cycling through France – a comprehensive guide to planning and executing a cycling trip to France for leisure, the Tour de France or L’Etape Du Tour (you read about our fun and games in 2009 here).
After about 5 months live, and recovering my costs (USD400 for Paul’s excellent services), I thought I’d write about the successful and not-so-successful parts of how I did this.

Dear Telstra,
I don’t have a huge problem with you, I think you’re great, honestly, I do.
However, your customer service stinks. I know David Thodey is on the warpath with this, so here’s some free constructive criticism for you. If you act on stuff like this, that causes real inconvenience (not to mention most of it just doesn’t make sense), you’ll have a chance of ruling the mobile roost.

So, over to Optus I went, with a fully owned, unlocked iPhone – one day before I headed up to the South Coast of NSW for a week. Imagine my anger, when, upon trying to get tethering working, it was blocked.
Hello?
“yes” Optus? NO, OPTUS.

I need some help. My brother Dan’s band, The Red Eyes, is on the shortlist for the Triple J Hottest 100 2009 (I am so stoked).
For those who are not from Australia, Triple is the “cool”/youth(ish) radio station in Aus – we have a countdown of the hottest 100 songs every Australia Day (Jan 26).

It’s one of those books that is a game-changer, and which on the front page (I bought the pdf), I have scrawled and highlighted – “THE BIBLE”. I constantly refer to it, and read swathes of it before doing any core UI design.
I don’t even need to read a review by these guys to want this book. If you’re a designer, coder, business owner, whatever, you should buy this new book.

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve written anything here, because quite frankly, I’ve been busy/sick/on holidays.
So, how’s my excellent quest to escape cubicle nation going?
Slowly.
Over here, you can read what I was aiming for. Independence from cubicle nation within 24 months. Of course, I didn’t write a plan, because I don’t believe in them – they limit you. Plus I constantly self adjust course, so, beyond some high level goals, I don’t do detailed plans. I find they also get in the way of implementation and execution. Any great idea is worth nothing without good execution.

Well, I’ve tried elance several times, but it’s getting me nowhere.
I desperately need a Wordpress Form Plugin allowing User submissions via HTML elements. This plugin will be used to basically create a reviewing engine. i.e. original post submission which can be done by anyone, with the post forming a review. People can then add their [...]
