Oilmap: interesting!

by Tim M on May 14, 2009

I found this map from the Rocky Mountain Institute very, very interesting.

This map shows the U.S.’s historical imports of oil since 1973, direct from the Energy Information Agency’s database, broken down by country of origin. Click on the timeline to jump to any month in history. For important events in oil history, click on the buttons above the map. To view the relative size of projected reserves in ANWR and off-shore, click “Show Projections.” To learn about Rocky Mountain Institute’s plans to get America off oil imports via efficiency, read on!
