With the mockup, I usually do something rough myself (according to the

principles outlined in Ben Hunt's Convert).

I then go to one of my designers, Lauren or Bill. I don't bother with Elance

anymore (not for design). Both these cool cats can skin Thesis (or Headway).

Just realised you posted this in '09 and I'm commeting in '11, timewarp.

Can you elaborate further in getting a mockup & coded theme via eLance? Would you recommed any of the providers?

I've got my hitlist of things and a rough sketch up of my site, but haven't been able to find a premium theme to fit the bill, headway looks like the way I'll go.

Any advice on outsourcing this would be grande'.

The Carousel feature takes the photos from several posts to create a slide show. Well worth the $79 I think.
